Learn how to play the music you love in a group setting!
Masterclasses and workshops are a great way to learn alongside others who love music just like you do! Get feedback on your playing from your teacher and other students - PLUS get lots of experience playing in front of others.
What is a Workshop: A workshop is a group class where you get to learn and perform with other students at your same level. The class includes some teaching on technique, music theory, and ear training, as well as a chance for each student to perform in front of the teacher as well as other students and get feedback on their playing. These classes are for players of all skill levels, but it is a great place to start for beginners. If you (or your child) are curious about music, but not sure about committing to long-term lessons, workshops are a great way to get your feet wet.
What is a Masterclass: A masterclass is a group class that is a lot like a workshop, except there is less of a focus on teaching and more of a focus on performance. This is where we work on things like expression, emotion, and advanced techniques. Students get the chance to perform live in front of the teacher and the other students while getting feedback from both on their playing. Masterclasses are for more advanced players who want to take their skills to the next level.
Each workshop progresses through different levels, so as you graduate from one level, you can move on to the next. The final stage would be to join a masterclass and fine-tune your performance skills!

Playing Piano By Ear For Beginners
Workshop: Playing Piano By Ear For Beginners

Description:Learn how to play the songs you love by ear! This class will teach you the system that professional musicians use to learn songs quickly so you can eventually teach yourself new songs.
Learn how scales, chords, and chord progressions work. Learn how to put them all together to play songs you know and love. By the end of the class, you will have a better understanding of how music works and you will be able to play one of your favorite songs by ear on the piano!
This is a 16-week course with 14-weeks of classes (2 weeks of vacation included). Classes are 60 minutes long and happen once a week online via Zoom. All students get free participation in the student recital at the end of the workshop. Participation in the recital is not mandatory, but highly encouraged so you can show off your hard work!
All classes are recorded so if you can’t make a class one week, you will have access to the recording. You will also be able to go back and re-watch any of the lessons whenever you want.
There is no payment due upfront to enroll. Once you enroll, you will be emailed instructions on setting up your billing before the workshop starts.
Super fun and laid back, this course is a great way to get started on the piano for any age 12 and up!

Description:Take your playing piano by ear skills to the next level! Learn how to play chords and songs in all 12 keys, learn how to train your ear to hear pitches, and learn how to play your favorite songs on the piano!
