There are so many notes on a piano, 88 to be exact, but really there are only 12 notes that just repeat higher and lower. We learned earlier what the white keys are (The Musical Alphabet). Now it’s time to learn what the black keys are.

The black keys on the piano are the sharps and flats. In this lesson, we learn what they are and how they work.
